No need to make coffee when Mojo Risin is so close and if you are into breakfast don't miss Sun Garden Cafe. Plenty of places to dine for the short weekend but if we had stayed longer would have looked for more. We don't cook while on vacation so the short walk to the village was a plus. Beach access was right across the street and the beach was so much less crowded than other areas we could stretch out and still maintain a good distance from others. We could enjoy our coffee in the morning after a long beach walk or in the evening as we got ready to head to dinner. We made good use of the beach chairs and cart, but the best amenity for us was the fenced back yard. Sometimes the pictures lie but that is not the case here. The cottage was clean and amenities were all up-to-date. We stayed in Cottage 1 and it was perfect for 2 couples, each room had a king. Once you visit the Beachpoint Cottages, you'll see why so many of our guests come back year after year to vacation with us on Siesta Key.īooked a last minute getaway for Oct 14th - 17th with another couple and couldn't have been more pleased. And each evening, locals and visitors walk or bike to our special part of the beach to see the best sunset views on the key. Locals treasure our pristine beaches which offer a protected habitat for native island birds, as well as the dolphins, manatees and other aquatic wildlife living just offshore. All the conveniences are easily accessible, but Siesta Key maintains a feeling of old Florida. And there's a US Post Office right in the local drugstore.
